Q: What is a Budtender and the experience you offer?
A: A Budtender is a person who provides services with cannabis like a Bartender would with alcohol. The Smoking Dutchman provides an experience for clients who are looking for an alternative experience to a traditional bar. Our top shelf quality products come straight from the farm to the bar to ensure that our clients receive an unconventional experience at their events.
Q: Do I need a license or permit to hire a budtender at my event?
A: You do not require a license or permit to hire a budtender at your event, so as long as your event is private! We do not service to public events, but if your event is a private social, corporate or wedding - you do not need to obtain a special permit/license.
Q: What do you all include in your budtending service?
A: Our services include one Budtender Concierge per every fifty (50) guest attendees. The Smoking Dutchman also provides all smoke wraps and the chosen strain of cannabis from our seasonal menus.
Q: Should I still hire a bartender, if I have a budtender?
A: Hiring both a Bartender and Budtender is typically at the client's discretion; most clients hire both to have variety within their event. Budtending is always a premium service to experience and a great way to add flair to your event.
Q: How do I know the quality of cannabis that I am ordering?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer a tasting upon inquiring about our services. However, rest assured that we will offer top quality cannabis, and our seasonal menu is designed to be thorough when it comes to clients having a colorful range of top-shelf options.
Q: Is there a minimum of order or hours to hire a budtender at our event?
A: The minimum amount of hours required to hire a Budtender with The Smoking Dutchman is typically 3 hours; however, there is no minimum cannabis purchase.
Q: What if my event guests don’t smoke cannabis? Should I still hire a budtender?
A: Hiring a Budtender is strictly up to the inquiring clients, the service will be provided for all who want to smoke to participate. Here at The Smoking Dutchman we like to view our services as you would in a house party, it is available to those who choose, and optional for those who don’t.
Q: What accessories do you include with your budtending service?
A: Accessories included with our Budtending services include Joint wraps, Bowls, and Vapes. Other accessories such as Smoke Volcanoes and Bongs are options that can be added on for a small fee.
Q: Do I get to keep the cannabis we don’t end up smoking at my event?
A: Upon request of our services all cannabis will be measured and distributed according to event/guest size. Any additional cannabis will not be provided to clients or guests to keep.
